Delegation

Everything in Active Directory is an Object and hence, even with Delegate Control, it offers object based Delegation of Control. This approach though provides a very deep level of granularity, it sometimes is rather confusing, time-confusing, and a lot of times frustrating to administrators, because delegating simple functions, such as to Help Desk, is not straight forward. And the level of detail provided, and the complex internal field names, can actually be a cause of concern, since it does not provide a clear high level picture.

With ‘Delegate n Extend’, we address this problem by focusing on Help Desk Delegation, by providing just the functions that you’d normally want to delegate to the Help Desk. The process is as simple as selecting from a list of actions that you want to delegate, and the scope, you want the help desk personnel to have control over.
