How many objects can I create in an AD domain?

There is no restriction on creating the objects (users, computers, contacts, groups, etc) in an AD domain. You can create as many objects as required by you.

 

Your product ‘Delegate n Extend’ runs in a web browser, does that mean it is
accessible from anywhere?

Yes, you can access the Delegate n Extend from any system within your organization’s network through a web browser.

 

Can I manage multiple domains with the help of your product?

Yes, our product provides the capability to manage multiple domains. You can easily add domains using our product and can search for the objects (users, computers, contacts, groups, etc) in different domains.

 

Can I view the permissions granted to a particular user? If so what is the process?

Users are granted permissions based on the roles to which they are assigned to. Depending upon the role permissions, the assigned users will be able to take actions. It is to be noted that only Global Administrators can view and edit role permissions from the "roles" tab.
 

 

What are the search features available in the product?

Users can search for any objects of active directory using search features of Delegate n Extend i.e. Users, Contacts, Computers, Groups and OUs using keywords or alphabetical filters

 

What are the audit / log reports available?

Delegate n Extend provides the most necessary reports that will allow you to track any action taken by any users of the system. Log report can be accessed through the "Logs" tab. Make sure that capture log has been enabled in configuration to show logs.

 

How can I know about the pending requests from the users waiting for approval?

The welcome dashboard shows brief of requests waiting for approval. For details
navigate to Approvals Tab

 

Can I update / add multiple users at once (Bulk user Updates)?

Yes, some fields can be updated or changed for multiple users at once. Make sure that the information you are updating or editing is common for all the selected users.
To add multiple users at a time use the sample CSV template and bulk upload as many users as you want.  

 

Are there any self service components available in the product? If so what are they?

Delegate n Extend provides self service components like reset password, change password, AD sync, business cards, people search and self service profile management

 

Can administrators control the information that users can see or edit?

Yes, based on role permissions created by Administrator information can be restricted for editing and viewing.

 

Can I setup mailbox during user creation?

Yes. Delegate n Extend includes the exchange connector component that can be easily plugged in to your exchange server to carry out this action.

 

What reports can I generate with this product?

There are multiple reports which can be generated based on OUs and Groups. You can also export the reports to PDF and excel spreadsheet

 

Can I export / save the reports to my personal folders? If yes, what document format is supported?

Yes, you can easily save/export the reports of your interest to your personal folders. The reports can be saved / exported as Adobe PDF and Microsoft Office Excel

 

Does your product provide any contact management features?

Yes, our product provides a comprehensive set of contact management features like bulk contacts creation, importing contacts from a CSV file, creating a Contact Template and managing contacts among others

 

What is the benefit of using a User Template?

User template is used to auto populate some of the fields while creating new user. This saves time by feeding in only that information which is unique to each users rather repeatedly feeding same information for each user.
