Optimus BT’s E-Procurement is a self-service requisitioning application in Microsoft SharePoint which would enable organizations to implement company store functionality in an easy to use format. Manage the product catalog, pricing, vendors, currencies, locations all from a simplified and easy to use SharePoint interface.

The Product also contains an Administration console, which allows the procurement administrators to manage the procurement settings and configurations. The procurement process is carried out by using a single E-Procurement web part, completely integrated with approval workflows, check out of products and integrated product specific search.



E-Procurement

Optimus BT’s E-Procurement allows employees to manage their own requisitions from searching for items and submitting requisitions to tracking status and changing requisitions. Automating and controlling employee procurement with self-service requisitioning is essential in streamlining the procurement processes; the application provides functionality by automatically generating requisition numbers, purchase order numbers and providing reporting features for the to the users of the respective departments involved in the procurement processes.

The intuitive navigation provided by the product includes easy to use menus, tree views of the product catalog, sorting and paging, summary information display, embedded search, on screen editing of quantity and price etc., which makes it very easy for the users to find information and manage the procurement process in a automated and streamlined fashion. Easily accessible and visible action links provided around the procurement items makes the procurement process to be carried quickly. The interface greatly reduces the need required for training the users to use the procurement system.

The Optimus BT's E-Procurement system ships with customizable order approval and budget approval workflows, completely integrated with the product catalog and procurement reporting system. These workflows provide a automated and paperless procurement system within an organization. Moreover, since the E-Procurement system is built on top of the SharePoint platform, the SharePoint features and functionalities like document management, contact management etc. can be easily integrated into the E-Procurement system.
