Improving CLM Processes: How eContracts’ End User Portal Enhances User Experience & Performance

A large number of organizations are starting to recognize the advantages of a reliable self service portal to improve the overall user experience and save time. A portal experience provides customers with instant access to relevant data, allows personalization, and saves valuable time. Consequently, the demand for an end user portal in contract management tools is also rising.

As the companies grow, the no. of contracts they have to manage piles up. Therefore, to save time and complete general contracting tasks with ease, an End User Portal is introduced in the latest eContracts’ release.

The portal enables users to complete common contract-related tasks like searching and accessing contract data, submitting contract requests, and bookmarking important contracts, among others. In the upcoming sections, we will discuss the benefits of the end user portal and learn in detail about its features and how to use them.

What Are the End User Portal Benefits for Business Users?

1. Enabling end users to complete common contracting tasks without assistance

One of the main benefits of the End User Portal is to enable business users to complete general contracting tasks like submitting contract requests, following contracts, tracking their progress, etc. from a single platform. Users get quick access to the requests they have submitted and the bookmarked contract requests. This makes tracking contract requests less time-consuming.

2. Reducing work hours spent by end users to find solutions to common problems

Earlier, even for creating a simple contract request like NDA, the business users needed to get in touch with legal teams. However, with the End user portal, they can submit such general contract requests on their own and save valuable work hours. This enhances the overall efficiency of the business teams as they can now give more time to their core tasks.

3. Giving a personalized experience to end users

The End User Portal gives a personalized experience to the users as they don’t need to skim through bulk contract data. With the bookmark and follow feature of the portal, users can select the contracts whose progress they want to track. They can also set up alerts and notifications for the followed contracts.

4. Boost in overall efficiency of contract lifecycle of enterprise

The end user portal is not only aimed at enhancing the user experience but also improving the efficiency of CLM(Contract Lifecycle Management) in the organization. The legal team which is preoccupied with so many contracts and workflows, need not worry about submitting or tracking general contract requests of business users. This saves time for all teams leading to the increased time spent on core tasks, and increased efficiency.
